Ho scoperto grazie ad un tweet di Riccardo Luna di essere finito nella presentazione di Rebecca MacKinnon al TED Global . Rebecca è la mitica co-fondatrice del network di blog Global Voices Online nonchè grande attivista dei diritti civili al tempo della rete.
Purtroppo al momento non abbiamo, dice la MacKinnon, delle buone risposte su come bilanciare il bisogno di sicurezza e la protezione della libertà di espressione, all’interno delle reti.
Prima di arrivare ad una sorta di Magna Carta condivisa dai cittadini connessi, conclude, tutti noi possiamo avere un ruolo proattivo nella costruzione di un mondo in cui i governi e la tecnologia siano al servizio delle persone e non viceversa.
