Facebook continua a crescere e i suoi competitor provano a cambiare volto per mantere un presidio di nicchia (MySpace sceglie la musica, Friendster i giovani asiatici).
Nel nostro paese si contano quasi 13 milioni di utenti, in maggioranza uomini (fino alla soglia dei 18 anni le donne sono più degli uomini), che rappresentano tutte le fasce di età.
Dando uno sguardo al passato è curioso notare come i teenager italiani, a differenza di quanto avvenuto in altre parti del mondo, lo hanno scoperto tardi: a novembre dello scorso anno erano solo l’8.8% degli utenti complessivi, mentre ora rappresentano il 19% del totale. Sarebbe interessante capire quanto ciò stia intaccando le vecchie abitudini (es. l’utilizzo di Windows Live Messenger).
