Facebook è il social network che più di ogni altro permette un controllo granulare della privacy attraverso il suo pannello di controllo. Ma questa granularità può rivelarsi un labirinto per l’utente inesperto.ReclaimPrivacy.org ha creato un bookmarklet (un piccolo programma in javascript eseguibile dal browser) che controlla il livello di privacy impostato ed esegue in automatico le modifiche del caso.
Vi basterà cliccare col tasto destro il link “Scan for Privacy ” e aggiungerlo ai preferiti. Poi entrate in Facebook e cliccate sul link che avete aggiunto ai preferiti. A questo punto lo scanner si attiverà e ispezionerà il livello di privacy, suggerendovi delle correzioni.

Io l’ho provato, ma non mi risolve granché.
Al 1°, 3° e 6° mi da good.
Al 2° e 4° mi da “scanning” anche dopo alcuni minuti.
Al 5° mi dice insecure e mi offre il pulsante per renderlo sicuro. Ma dopo averlo previsto torna alla situazione precedente.
