Nell’arco di 3 anni gli iscritti italiani a Facebook sono cresciuti da 200 mila ad oltre 17 milioni (dettagli alla pagina dell’Osservatorio Facebook ). Un’aspetto meno noto e più interessante è capire come si sia trasformata la composizione demografica del social network più famoso del mondo.
Anche se sono stati i giovani tra i 19 e i 24 anni a trainarne l’adozione nella penisola, oggi Facebook, al di là della visione necessariamente parziale che ognuno di noi ne ha, si presenta frequentato in maniera trasversale da tutte le coorti di età.
Le fasce che sono cresciute maggiormente in questi anni sono state quelle dei 36-55enni (+700%) e degli ultra 56enni (+ 1000%), che potrebbero avere ancora ulteriori margini di sviluppo.
