Il tema dell’Intelligenza Artificiale affascina e confonde. Ormai se ne parla ovunque, ma il suo significato muta a seconda delle convinzioni di chi usa questo termine. C’è chi lo considera un naturale passo in avanti nella produzione di software, chi lo carica di un’impatto salvifico, chi gli attribuisce effetti nefasti.
È di qualche giorno fa la notizia che un ingegnere di Google ha denunciato ai media che l’azienda sarebbe giunta alla creazione di un’intelligenza artificiale senziente. In realtà si tratta di un sistema conversazionale (progettato per la generazione di chatbot) molto avanzato in grado di rispondere alle domande, simulando molto bene il comportamento umano.
Dello stato dell’AI, del perché non dovremmo parlare di intelligenza e di come dovremmo utilizzare al meglio queste innovazioni, ho parlato con Massimo Chiriatti, Chief Technical & Innovation Officer in Lenovo Italia, autore di due libri sul tema “Humanless” e “Incoscienza Artificiale”.
